Mr. Waithaka Ng'ang'a, Deputy Director of Financial and Sectoral Affairs in the National Treasury, serves as the Permanent Secretary's Alternate. He is a member of the Audit and Risk and Finance committees of the KISE Council. Mr Ng'ang'a has extensive expertise in policy formulation, sectoral and strategic planning, monitoring and evaluation, finance, and budgeting at both the national and county levels. He holds a Master of Development Policy (Public Finance and Social Policy) from the KDI School of Public Policy and Management (South Korea), a Post Graduate Diploma in Project Management from Jomo Kenyatta University of Science and Technology, and the Prince Practitioner Certificate in Project Management. He is a member of the Institute of Certified Investment Financial Analyst (ICIFA) and the Economist Society of Kenya (ESK).
