Mr. Anthony Mwangi is an accomplished Finance and Administration professional with extensive experience in public sector management, financial administration, institutional governance, and strategic leadership. He currently serves as the Deputy Director, Finance and Administration at the Kenya Institute of Special Education (KISE), where he provides leadership in financial management, administration, strategic planning, and institutional support services.

Education Background

Mr. Mwangi holds a Bachelor's Degree in International Business Management from Mount Kenya University and a Master's Degree in Business Administration (Corporate Management) from KCA University.

Professional Experience

With extensive experience in public sector financial management and administration, Mr. Mwangi has built a strong track record in financial planning and budget formulation, public financial management and reporting, administration and institutional operations, procurement and asset management oversight, internal control systems and compliance, human resource administration, strategic planning, performance management, and risk management. As the Deputy Director, Finance and Administration at the Kenya Institute of Special Education (KISE), he provides technical guidance to Management on matters of financial sustainability while ensuring compliance with the Public Finance Management Act, government regulations, and institutional policies. He plays a key role in strengthening institutional governance, resource utilization, and supporting the successful implementation of KISE's strategic priorities.
