The Kenya Institute of Special Education (KISE) is proud to host a high-level Training of Master Trainers from 28th to 30th July, focusing on the retooling of Senior School teachers and teacher educators in line with Competency-Based Curriculum (CBC), Competency-Based Teacher Education (CBTE), and Competency-Based Assessment (CBA).

Day One opened with feedback from the Teachers Service Commission (TSC) on the ongoing retooling exercise, setting the tone for robust and collaborative engagement.

The event has drawn participation from key stakeholders including officials from TSC, KICD, KNEC, and the Ministry of Education, all united in strengthening the implementation of the CBC at Senior School level.

Held at KISE’s state-of-the-art conference facilities, this training affirms the Institute’s central role in shaping inclusive and transformative education in Kenya.
