We are proud to announce that the Dyslexia Rising Africa Conference 2025 will take place at the Kenya Institute of Special Education (KISE) in Nairobi on August 20th and 21st.

This high-impact event, co-hosted by KISE and the Bloom Dyslexia Centre, brings together educators, researchers, policymakers, and advocates from across the continent to spotlight dyslexia and its impact on learning.

With the theme “Rewriting the Neurodiversity Narrative: From Stigma to Strength,” the conference will focus on raising awareness, sharing groundbreaking research, and promoting inclusive education practices that empower learners with dyslexia.

As the host institution, KISE is honoured to provide a platform where lived experiences meet evidence-based solutions — fostering a future where neurodiversity is not just acknowledged, but celebrated.

Stay tuned as we prepare to welcome participants from across Africa and beyond for this transformative conversation on dyslexia and inclusion.
