KASARANI, NAIROBI – The Kenya Institute of Special Education (KISE) has recently become a key venue for hosting high-profile national and international events, further solidifying its status as one of Nairobi’s most versatile and well-equipped locations for professional conferences, seminars, and corporate gatherings.

While KISE is widely known for its core mandate of training, assessment, research, and community outreach in special needs education, it has also emerged as a premier destination for organizations looking for world-class facilities and a professional environment for their events.

Among the distinguished events hosted by KISE this month were a consultative forum by UNICEF and the LEGO Foundation, which brought together global experts to discuss innovations in child development and education. The Special Schools Heads Association Conference also took place at KISE, where school leaders from across Kenya gathered to exchange insights and strategies on inclusive education and leadership.

KISE was also proud to host the Pan African Conference on Autism, a significant event that united stakeholders from across the continent to advocate for greater inclusion, policy change, and awareness surrounding autism spectrum conditions.
